Controversy over McGraw’s ‘Greatest Hits 3′

Rumor has it that Tim McGraw’s ‘Greatest Hits 3′ album, debuted at #1 this week but with much controversy. Selling only 44,000 copies, McGraw himself, in a press conference, claimed that Curb records released the album without his involvement in lieu of an album of new material he had recorded earlier this year.  Allegations that the release was to extend McGraw’s contract with Curb, obviously, angered the superstar and his manager.  With the decision to release ‘GH3′, Curb can delay release of McGraw’s new material.
